Your contact and personal details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you don’t wish to receive these, let us know. During the booking process we ask for any contact details we may need to get hold of you. Please note that your financial details are NEVER stored, nor seen, by us. We never pass on or sell your details to any third parties.
To secure your chosen date your booking must be paid in full at time of booking, a confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours once we have received your payment. The person booking is responsible for ensuring the appropriate information is understood for themselves and to others in the party, such as these Terms and Conditions, the directions to the site and prior to arrival, the welcome pack information.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. If any members of your party are only staying for the night then our minimum 2 nights stay policy still applies.

We will always endeavour to rebook/accommodate your stay in the event of a cancellation (subject to availability) or return your payment in full where applicable. If we are unable to do so the following rules would apply:
Cancellation 3 weeks or more – Full refund/ rearrange date (subject to availability)
Any cancellation with less than 3 weeks notice you will not receive a refund and you will forfeit your booking (as we will struggle to re-let The Hut in such a short time).
Any cancellation or change must be confirmed in writing by email, from the person who made the booking.
Covid-19 Cancellation policy – If you are notified that you have to quarantine from track and trace our standard cancellation policy still applies. If we are informed by the government that we have to close and this affects your booking we may offer an alternative date, to hold your booking until we can reschedule or offer you a full refund.
Our rights to cancel your stay
We may cancel your stay at any time in writing to you if:
You do not make any payment to us when it is due and you still do not make payment within 24 hours of us reminding you that payment is due.
You do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with the information that is necessary to provide the glamping services such as guest numbers.
We receive notice from our local authority or our government stating we have to temporarily close due to Covid-19.
The rare occasion may occur that your booking could clash with a wedding party on site. If that is the case you will be offered a discounted stay to move your booking to another date or a full refund will be issued.
If we end the contract under points 1 and 2 then you may be subject to a cancellation charge in accordance with our cancellation policy above.
To secure your chosen date your booking must be paid in full at time of booking. Payment is taken via PayPal, Square or bank transfer. Payment is taken in UK Pounds Sterling only.
Arrival and Departure
Please give us an estimated time of arrival. You will receive a welcome pack email within 24 hours prior to your check in which will include your unique combination code to get into The Hut. Upon arrival please park at the top of the field in the parking bay just inside of the gate. We provide you with a trolley for you to transport your belongings to The Hut.
We offer an optional late check out on Sundays only at an additional rate, please enquire to find out more.

Please remember you are staying on a site not owned by The Hut Life and that you are staying in a natural environment surrounded by wildlife and possibly some hazards. If equipment, tools or other glamping accessories are misused it is potentially dangerous and may cause harm. The Hut Life is not responsible for you or any of your party using our shepherds hut or the Whitemoor farm facilities and site. The Hut Life is not responsible for your belongings and all vehicles are left at owners own risk.
The only guests permitted to stay in The Hut are those stated on the booking form, The Hut Life or owners of the campsite do reserve the right to ask visiting or non paying guests to leave for any reason. Day guests are welcome (subject to gov guidelines at the time of your stay) to visit but asked to leave before 11pm to respect the other guests on site.
Dogs are an additional £5.00 per night per dog 1 dogs max
Dogs are welcome into The Hut Life but unfortunately we cannot welcome dogs during the months of July and August due to livestock and how busy the site gets during the peak season.
Dogs MUST be kept on lead until you are in the Hut Life Paddock. The Hut Life is NOT responsible for any damage your dog causes to livestock or wildlife around the site. We have done what we can to ensure it is suitable for you to bring your dog along with you but please be aware and respectful of any livestock and if your dog is particularly troublesome around livestock please consider finding an alternative arrangement for them or take extra precautions during your stay..
Dogs must not be left unattended in the hut
Please no dogs on beds or on the seats.
Please pick up ALL dog poop and dispose of it appropriately.
We ask that you practice common sense and take consideration for the hut during your stay. It is against the law to smoke inside, we do not tolerate smoking inside the shepherds hut please smoke outside and please put your cigarette butts in the bin and not on the ground. Please don’t use the wood burning stove for drying clothes or put anything flammable near the stove, the risk of fire is real and likely. Chopping boards, drinks coasters and mats are provided, please use in order to limit damage to work tops and surfaces, under no circumstances should food be chopped on the work surfaces. We take a £10.00 cleaning surcharge to ensure we have the best cleaning service possible prior to your arrival. If you have caused any damage to the hut or any of the items we provide please do let us know, accident happen, so quite often we will not bill you but if there is any permanent damage we may have to bill you for the cost of fixing or for a replacement.
The facilities on site are cleaned every day at a COVID safe standard at 12pm-2pm. We have a strict and thorough cleaning protocol at The Hut Life. We clean, disinfect and ventilate thoroughly after each check out. All bedding has protectors underneath the sheets which are changed and washed at a high temperature after every check out.
If at any time you become unwell during your stay with us, you cannot self-isolate in our hut ,you must vacate Whitemoor Farm and inform The Hut Life. We recommend you follow the guidelines and contact 111.
We clean The Hut as per the government guidelines and any interior furnishings will have been quarantined between stays or disinfected.
By booking and paying for your stay with The Hut Life you are accepting our Terms and Conditions.
